We would like to thank everyone who stopped by our booth at the 31st annual CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference). We heard some terrific presentations, engaged in lively debates, networked with other conservative activists, talked to some prominent conservatives, and met other freepers from around the country. We would especially like to thank our own Doctor Raoul for dressing up as Saddam Hussein with the "Save Me. Vote Democrat." sign. A picture of Raoul/Saddam can be found here .
The DC Chapter's booth was located in the main exhibit hall across from the Free Republic Network’s booth. Long time friends of the DC Chapter, former Congressmen Bob Barr and Dick Armey stopped by. Attendance at the event was excellent and the especially encouraging were the number of students at the conference. The Hill newspaper recently published their photos of the year for 2003 and a picture of one of ANSWER’s rally posters properly adorned with one of the DC Chapters’s “This Rally Paid For By Saddam Hussein” stickers was featured right in the center of their collage. Sean Hannity will be at Borders bookstore at 14th and F Streets, NW in Washington, DC on Wednesday, February 18th from 2pm to 7pm. Sean will broadcast live and will sign copies of his new book, “Deliver Us from Evil.” 630 WMAL talk host Michael Graham will also be on hand to sign his new book, “Redneck Nation.”

Calendar of Upcoming Events
May 1st: 6th Annual White House Press Correspondents Dinner Freep!
May 9th: the Second Amendment Sisters rally.
· On May 1st The DC Chapter will be conducting its 6th Annual White House Press Correspondents Dinner Freep! Come join us at the Washington Hilton on the corner of Connecticut Avenue and T Street NW for an evening of fun, roasting and toasting the liberal media. Last year we served up yummy Garofalo Crow!
· On May 9th the Second Amendment Sisters will be holding a rally at Freedom Plaza on Pennsylvania Avenue between 13th and 14th Streets, N.W. Come join in the rally to counter the Million Moms/Brady No Guns bunch. Details to be announced.
